Clutch Parts

The flywheel and clutch cables can be seen as the most vulnerable clutch parts and can become damaged, cracked or contaminated over time and will therefore need to be checked and replaced. The term transmission clutch is made up of a number of other components, including clutch pressure plates and clutch discs. Problems with transmission or a ‘slipping clutch’ will need to be looked at and may be due to damaged or worn components.
