Handbrake Shoes

Handbrake shoes must be replaced to retain their effectiveness and sit inside a rotating metal drum attached to the wheel, generally used to secure the vehicle’s position when it is stationary. When the handbrake lever is pulled up cables force the handbrake shoes against the surface of the brake drum, providing friction to keep your vehicle stationary, or stop your vehicle moving.
